The ball screw can be lubricated by grease or lubricating oil, and the lubricating methods are roughly divided into two types: manual lubrication and automatic forced lubrication. The suitable choice can be made according to the operating speed of the system and the operating environment.

The frequency of lubricating grease varies according to the operating conditions and environment. In general, it is recommended to add grease once every 100KM of running distance. It is recommended to use lubricating oil with a viscosity of 30~150cst for oil lubrication.

Ball screw screw maintenance method:

The lubricant and grease used in the screw rod are lithium soap-based lubricating oil, and its viscosity is 3# (minus 30-180℃), and the lubricating oil is ISO grade 32~100.

Selection basis:

1. For low temperature use: Use a lubricant with a low base oil viscosity.

2. High temperature, high load or shaking, low speed use: Use lubricant with high base oil viscosity.
